Refund Policy

Rivioo's paid exports are priced by export size: you pay a one-time fee for an export of up to a certain number of reviews. This policy explains what happens when we deliver fewer reviews than you paid for.
Automatic refunds for undelivered reviews
If your export delivers fewer reviews than you requested — because the app has fewer public reviews than expected, or we couldn't fetch them all — the undelivered portion is refunded automatically and proportionally to your original payment method. You don't need to contact us or file a request; the refund is issued by our system as soon as the export completes.
Example: You pay $3 for an export of up to 1,000 reviews. The app only has 800 public reviews, so that's what you receive. The undelivered 200 reviews (20% of your order) are refunded — $0.60 back to your payment method, automatically.
How the refund is calculated
The refund is the exact share of your payment that corresponds to the reviews we didn't deliver:
refund = amount paid × (undelivered reviews ÷ reviews requested)
- Reviews requested is the export size you paid for (e.g., 1,000).
- Undelivered reviews is that number minus the reviews actually in your export file.
- The result is rounded to the nearest cent, and never exceeds what you paid.
A few worked examples at the $3 / 1,000-review tier:
- 1,000 requested, 800 delivered → 200 undelivered → $3 × 200/1,000 = $0.60 refunded
- 1,000 requested, 950 delivered → 50 undelivered → $3 × 50/1,000 = $0.15 refunded
- 1,000 requested, 0 delivered (export failed) → $3 × 1,000/1,000 = $3.00 refunded (full refund)
The same formula applies at every tier — for a $20 / 10,000-review export, each undelivered review is worth $0.002 back.
Failed exports
If a paid export fails entirely and delivers no reviews, you receive a full refund to your original payment method, automatically.
Refund timing and method
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method through our payment processor, Razorpay.
- Refunds typically appear on your statement within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
- You'll receive the refund in the currency you paid in.
What is not refundable
When an export delivers the full number of reviews you paid for, the purchase is complete and not refundable. Free-tier exports (up to 50 reviews) involve no payment.
